So, after 100 posts, I took a little trip to London and Paris for some relaxing and got a few goodies (duty-free, of course!). This is the mother of all things I got: the Jumbo sized Chanel Classic Flap, caviar leather and gold hardware.
My experience at the Chanel boutique on Avenue des Champs-Elysées was awesome. When I first walked in and looked around, they didn't have many of the classic bags on display, but had so many other beautiful bags. They had some reissues, but not exactly what I was looking for. I began to feel sad, thinking I'd have to go to another boutique. I tried on their lovely sunglasses for awhile and kept browsing (found a pair I really liked but had to let them go... at least for now... boo). It was a very packed store. As I walked towards the back of the store, where the clothes were, an SA asked me if I needed any help so I told her exactly what I was looking for. She brought me the bag in 3 sizes, just in case, even though I told her I wanted the Jumbo. After the purchase, the bag was delivered straight to our hotel, even though we bought it right before they closed (LV only does this before a certain time.). We were so glad that we didn't have to carry it around with us to dinner, etc. So awesome!
